Course for learning MS Office Applications

The Business Applications Course is the primary offering of the Business Academy.  In this course, students will learn how to operate the most widely used productivity software in the business world today, Microsoft Office.  Students will gain proficiency using Microsoft Word (word processing software), Excel (spreadsheet application), and PowerPoint (presentation application).

Upon completion of each unit, students will take the official Microsoft Certification exam with the goal of achieving certification in all three products.

This software is used at the high school level, at colleges, and most businesses.  Therefore, students will become more workforce ready and capable upon completion of the course.

Business Applications is a high school credit course and the grades earned in the class will be reflected on the high school transcripts.  Additionally, the attendance policies of the high school apply to this course.
